A window is the only part of a store that has to work on a stranger walking past at speed. It has days to earn attention, then it comes down and the next one goes up.

SignWorks designs, builds and installs retail window displays in Dubai, with the props, sets and fixtures made in our own workshops. Located in the heart of the Middle East with production facilities in Dubai, Doha and Riyadh, we work with some of the world’s most prestigious brands, delivering custom window displays for luxury retailers including Louis Vuitton and Dior.

Types of window display we produce

Seasonal and campaign windows. Scheme design and production for seasonal moments and brand campaigns, delivered on the calendar a retail year actually runs on, often across several stores in the same week.

Interactive and digital windows. Window schemes that respond to the person standing in front of them, using integrated screens, programmable lighting and motion or sensor-triggered elements. An interactive window is a harder build than it looks: the content, the hardware and the physical set have to be designed together, because the screen has to sit inside the scheme rather than be mounted onto it, and the whole assembly still has to be installed overnight and survive a campaign’s run. We build the set, integrate the hardware and install it as one piece.

Permanent window schemes. Fixed window architecture including plinths, cases, integrated lighting and mounting systems built to stay.

Product launch windows. Short-run, high-impact installations built around a single product or collection drop.

Sculptural and prop-led installations. Large-format sculpted pieces, oversized product replicas and full set builds.

Props, sculpture and set fabrication

This is the part most display companies subcontract. Styrofoam sculpting, fiberglass, 3D printing, CNC and laser cutting, metal fabrication, artistic painting and spray finishing all sit in our own facility, so a scheme calling for a three-metre sculpted form, a precisely matched brand finish and a set of machined mounts is a single production job rather than a chain of suppliers.

Installation and changeover

Windows go in when stores are shut. Our installation teams work to whatever access hours a site allows, including overnight in operating malls, and we handle multi-store changeovers so a campaign lands across a fleet on the same morning rather than over a fortnight.

How long does a window display take?

Allow 3 to 4 weeks from approved concept to installation for a typical scheme. Interactive windows and sculptural set builds need longer, and multi-store campaigns are scheduled in phases, so the earlier a seasonal calendar is shared the more of it we can lock in.
